Director of Golf/General Manager This position is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the objectives, policies, programs and fiscal practices, as designated by corporate, are implemented, administered and maintained at the club level. The Director of Golf/General Manager functions as a chief operating officer promoting all activities that are within the scope of services provided by the golf club. Requirements: PGA member in good standing; college degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent from other training courses and/or an experience background, which would equal the same. Shall be a competent golfer with considerable experience in teaching and organizing instructional programs and in the management of tournaments. Must have demonstrated merchandising and golf shop operational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
